Who is behind BERGBOUND
Behind BERGBOUND is me, Kai Freund. Over the past years I have spent a lot of time abroad – travelling through Europe and Southeast Asia, as well as around five years in Australia.
When you are on the move a lot, you quickly notice what matters in good gear: it should work reliably, be sensibly thought through and take up as little unnecessary space as possible. Those experiences also shape what I expect from BERGBOUND.
The starting point is foldable trekking poles with a folded size of 37 cm, which pack away compactly in a rucksack or travel luggage. Step by step, BERGBOUND is set to grow with further functional outdoor products, focusing on practical benefit, good materials and a reduced design.
